18th INDIA TREND FAIR 2026
INDIA FASHION & LIFESTYLE SHOW
29th(Wed), 30th(Thu), 31th(Fri) July 2026
Greeting
The Japan India Industry Promotion Association (JIIPA) is pleased to announce that the 18th India Trend Fair Tokyo will be held for three days from July 29 (Wed) to 31 (Fri), 2026, at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building, Sankaku Hiroba. This event is organized with the support and cooperation of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, and the Embassy of India in Tokyo.
Marking its 18th edition since its inception in 2019, "India Trend Fair Tokyo 2026" will feature a curated selection of products from approximately 200 exhibitors across India. A key highlight this year is the lineup of eco-friendly "ethical" products, as well as collections that seamlessly blend India’s advanced IT technology with its long-standing tradition of craftsmanship.
Participating Indian companies—many of whom are manufacturers for major fashion brands in Europe and the U.S.—will showcase ready-to-wear garments, embroidery, and accessories. Their aim is to present fashion and lifestyle cultures influenced not only by Indian heritage but also by European and Asian trends.
In response to the global commitment to SDGs, an increasing number of exhibitors are focusing on sustainable manufacturing. This includes products made from natural materials such as organic cotton and organic silk, as well as items incorporating recycled materials and eco-friendly technologies.
The fair will also feature high-quality handmade products, including wool and sweaters. Many participating companies are dedicated to preserving traditional hand-weaving and hand-dyeing techniques, supporting women's education and economic independence, and promoting Fair Trade.
India’s historic textile industry, a pillar of its national economy, has developed global connections and influenced world fashion with iconic designs like paisley and chintz, alongside its raw material production and dyeing expertise. Under the Modi administration’s "Make in India" initiative, the textile sector is positioned as a top-priority industry. With the recent elimination of tariffs on textile items under the EPA, Indian enterprises are gaining significant attention from Japanese companies as strategic partners for sourcing and production.
We invite you to experience these exceptional products firsthand. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you to the event.
The Japan India Industry Promotion Association (JIIPA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting trade and industrial collaboration between India and Japan, proudly presents its exclusive bi-annual event — the 17th India Trend Fair, to be held at Gotanda TOC Event Hall (13th Floor), Tokyo, from January 28–30, 2026.
This prestigious event, organized in collaboration with various Indian trade councils and industry bodies, More than 100 leading export companies from across India participated, showcasing the rich diversity, craftsmanship, and creativity of “Made in India” fashion and lifestyle products. The India Trend Fair has established itself as a flagship platform for India’s apparel and home furnishing sectors, building strong bridges of partnership between Indian manufacturers and exporters and the Japanese buyer community. The exhibition will present an extensive range of value-added products for the Autumn/Winter 2027 season, with a special focus on designs tailored to Japanese fashion trends and market preferences.
India Trend Fair 2026 is designed to intensify focus on innovation, sustainability, and cultural fusion, offering new perspectives and opportunities for buyers, designers, and manufacturers alike. The event goes beyond textiles — it celebrates the evolving connection between fashion, culture, and creativity.
As industrial and cultural exchanges between Japan and India continue to grow rapidly, the India Trend Fair plays a vital role in deepening understanding and cooperation between the two countries’ fashion industries. Japan’s thriving fashion culture and India’s vibrant manufacturing base together create new synergies, shaping the future of the global fashion landscape.
We sincerely hope that India Trend Fair 2026 will serve as a gateway for discovering India’s design excellence and provide visitors with inspiring ideas, meaningful connections, and a memorable experience.
We look forward to welcoming members of the Japanese business fraternity to join this celebration of India’s fashion and lifestyle sector, and to further strengthen the bonds of bilateral trade and investment between our two nations.
